How Do I Properly Clean the Interior Lining to My Car’s Roof?

The exterior of your roof is a hard and tough surface, but the interior is delicate and needs to be handled with care. Most car owners don’t realize, but overtime your interior roof lining can get pretty dirty. Cleaning this lining can significantly improve the inside of your car. Not sure how you should clean this lining? Check out our helpful tips to see the best results:

  • When you go to clean the inside of your roof, use a microfiber cloth. Gently wipe your roof in the same direction to make sure that there is no dirt left behind.
  • If you’re unsure of which cleaner to use to get a deep clean, check with your car manufacturer. The solution will most likely depend on the type of material your roof lining is made with.
  • When you the correct cleaner, spray the entire lining with it. Once it is applied thoroughly, let it sit for a couple of minutes.
  • Use a microfiber cloth again to remove all of the cleaner and clean off the lining.
